Earphones for us sweaty runners
I've seen a few different types of sweat resistant earphones before, thinking about getting these as my running comes back into favour.
Surge Bass Amplified Waterproof Headphones*::*Headphones*::*H2O Audio
Anyone tried em or have recommendation? I've seen this other brand which is like really bright neon green, but apparrently the audio quality sucks ass.

I have a pair of these. The sound quality is pretty good as far as buds go. If ear buds normally stay in your ears when you are running dry I'd say this is what you are looking for.
Personally they were not good for me for running though. I originally got them because my regular i-pod ear buds kept falling out while running -very annoying - and I assumed it was because I'm a sweaty mo-fo, but these still fell out. Don't know if i have bigger than normal ear canals or what, but I can't find any buds that stay in during a run.
I ended up going with a pair of Sure earphones that are small and sort of wrap around the ear. They are uncomfortable, but the only thing that will stay one whilst running.

I bought some of these off ebay new
Sennheiser PMX70 Sport Line Stereo Neckband Headphones > Memory Cards, Memory Sticks & More
I've done tabata burpee sessions with them if thats an indicator as to how secure they are.
I used to use creative brand inner ear headphones, but saw these going and went for it. So far so good

Never had those ones that loop behind the neck. I always go with buds with earhooks, and even they sometimes fall out during sprints. A bandana is a good way to keep them in place though.

Neither had I
I used to wear cheap sony eat bud with earhooks but they used to break and it was bloody annoying.
My creative inner ear bud headphones worked fine but they were tight on the let ear and would pull out every now and then when running which used to really get me angry. My last run before I said fuck it was on the friday before I saw these going cheap on the saturday and when i was running my bud was snagged and fell out and I lost the bloody thing.
Thats not good engrish but I'm busy at the mo.

Hang on, are you seriously saying that you sweat so much you damage your headphones?
I'm with revok on the ear buds with ear hooks, never had any trouble with them. Might look into the neck band ones though if I ever need to replace them.

I always thread the headphones' wire down the front of my shirt so it doesn't snag, which means it gets sweated on quite a bit. And this one pair I had for about a year, and I never thought to clean them. One night I fell asleep with the wire touching my neck, and next day I woke up with a line of suppurating brown blisters running from my ear to my collarbone. Ended up missing 2 weeks BJJ.
Don't neglect headphone hygiene.
