Does training with gloves on make much difference?

I've been using the Bas Rutten workouts a lot and was wondering if wearing a pair of 4oz gloves while doing them will make a huge amount of difference when shadowboxing? Or is the strength and conditioning you gain in your arms negligible?

i find that whenever i train with 16oz on, whenver i fight with 10 oz's on my hands are much quicker, also helps u keep ur hands up in a real fight if u have to hold up those,. i would recommend using heavy gloves in training,

Go with a heavier weight on the gloves, a good pair of bag gloves works well at adding enough weight to build muscle endurance while not hurting your form.

Yeah I have to agree that after training with my 16 oz my hands are crisp as hell w/o them
