Disgraceful Condition.

I have just weighed myself and I am an unbelievable 21.7 stone. I'm not sure what that is in pounds, but it is dangerously obese. I stopped training altogether just over three years ago when we bought a house and I got into debt, working seven days a week. I've just left my job as I was sitting on my fat arse all day and killing myself, and I'm going for a different one that will give me a lot of time off to train.

Sorry for the self pitying, excuse filled introduction.

I'm out on the road early tomorrow morning and I've got a lot of miles to do until I get back to what I should be, but I'll post how I do in here as a kind of extra motivation.

The key to your success is consistency. Try to get to the point where your workouts are done on a consistent basis and you will make it. Check out the stickies here and post whatever questions you might have.

I know it's only a small step, but I've quit drinking Coffee as well (which I've been pretty addicted to) and started drinking 4-5 litres of water a day. Thanks for the encouraging words anyway fellas.

Here we go . . .

One of the best things you could probably do off the bat. I'd recommend checking out the diet & supplement forum as well to see things you can do food wise to get more effectiveness out of your work outs.

Diet and supps is a good call, thats going to be the single biggest thing you can do to help lose weight, drinking more water is great too cause most people just don't drink nearly as much as they should.

Coffee is not bad though, if you can have it black its actually one of the better thing you can drink, no calories, andd has caffeine to help you with your workouts

^ Truer words were never said. The only workout that matters is the one you do consistently.
