I hear some people say Cardio is not good for losing weight. I also hear the opposite of that; if you want to lose weight you need to do mad cardio.

Losing weight is ultimately about burning more calories than you consume. There are two ways to do that - eat less, or burn more calories. Eating less is pretty straight forward. Burning more calories can be done either through cardio or by adding muscle to your body so that you burn more calories through the day.
The reason that some people argue that cardio is bad for losing weight is that when done to excess, you can lose muscle mass, which means that you will burn less calories per day. However, unless you are already big, relatively lean, and counting your weekly cardio in hours, this probably won't apply to you.
It is definitely possible to lose weight without doing any cardio - it just takes careful dietary control. However, why would you want to? Cardio is good for you when not done excessively.

I've also heard that doing cardio while bulking up isn't good either. That makes more sense.
|
Again, it's a question of degree. If you are trying to pack on muscle, doing cardio for 30 minutes three times a week isn't going to really hurt your gains. However, the rest of your post seems to be asking about fat loss, so I'll point out that you should probably focus on either fat loss or muscular gains, not both at the same time.

I also need advice on high intensity excercises that I can do at home to help shed unwanted pounds. Such as burpess or something like that. Something that works and works fast and well.
|
The most important thing you can do at home is going to be the plate push-away. This will make a much bigger difference than any particular exercise.

Good for you. I didn't type in conditioning. You were talking about weight lifting, so that is what I referrenced as well. I'm not going to have an e-wang battle with you about this. It's a simple question. You don't have to respond if you don't want to. It's easier to ask then to search and not have success like I did. Why must everyone do it the hard way? Because you had to?
In all of my time on forums, I have never not helped anyone by doing something like that. I'm not a "noob" to forums, don't treat me like one.

Yup. I take time out of my day to provide you with an educated answer and you give me this type of a response because you were too lazy to search "lsd conditioning" on google? Give me a F'n break. If you were so eager to lose weight you would be researching everything you possibly can instead of making 20 threads about the same thing on each subforum only to lead into a 10 page story about the drunk argument you had with your fiance.
Get bent.

This is a forum? What else would you come on here for?
I help countless people every day with their cars, I just don't act like a dick. If it's a simple answer, I provide it. Not every thing has to be done the long way.
Seeing as how you really don't know me, I don't think you are in a position to judge my life and who I am... I don't see how me asking you for a definition of an acronym shows that I have any weakness in accomplishing my goals. If you don't want to help me, then just shut the fuck up and let the others, who are kind enough to, do so.
BTW.... as you saw, there were a million and one definitions for LSD. But I guess since I'm a fucking mind-reader, I should have known exactly which one you were referring to.

I'm not trying to pick a fight, but I will not have someone disrespect me. Internet forum, in real life... I don't care. I don't tolerate disrespect when I did nothing to deserve it. I will surely dish it back to you though. That can be seen in the above.
I see a lot of people question the capability and determination of others and I don't see why. I'm sure a ton of them don't do what they say they are going to, but does that mean that you question each one of them and write them off as a "oh they put in work". If you honestly believe that someone is not going to accomplish their goals because they didn't look up an acronym, then you are simply pathetic.

Not even if the person can pummel you mercilessly?
Because generally that factor tends to increase someone's threshold for disrespect.
Just saying...you'd tolerate at least a little bit more from Fedor than you would from John the 120-pound sandwich maker.

Considering this is a conditioning forum, I figured a man of your intelligence could have narrowed it down, my mistake.
