Question about nausea during a particularly intense muscle endurance workout.

This kind of goes along with the "Vomiting after workout" thread that another poster started, but this was during a weightlifting workout. I was trying out a muscle endurance "pre-fight" workout, in anticipation of a grappling tournament coming up, that I got out of Grappling magazine. About halfway through it, I got really light-headed and ended up going to the bathroom and threw up twice. What causes this? Is it the build-up of lactic acid? Or an I just in really bad shape? Probably the latter, huh?

I get that feeling as well. Try not to eat at least an hour before a vigerous work out. I find it works for me to blast a protien shake before and after a hard work out.

You will find that as you push your body it will start to build up that stamina you need to battle in that last round. keep at it bro

^^^Thanks, man. That first one was rough, but I'm getting used to it. I usually work out at about 5am, so I don't have time to eat before hand. That particular day I got a late workout, so I had eaten, and probably not long enough before.
