cutting weight and balancing cardio and weights.

Hey guys, well i should talk first about what im trying to do. Well right now i wrestle for my high school, my freshman year i wrestled 189 and only won one match. My sophmore year i was forced to wrestle 215, at the time i was weighing around 190-195, i won actually more than one and got third place at a jv tournament. Well next year im going to be a junior and i really want to wrestle 171, right now my height is 6'1 and im weighing about 190-195, my question is how should i balance the cardio and the weight training and does anyone have any tips, i really have no clue how to balance it, and can i have some tips for cutting the weight. Also i really want to do 171 but, 189 i can do it but rather not.

Well do you plan on cutting weight for each match? if so how much would you be able to cut effectivly? also how much time do you have to get down to the weight you want? Depending on how quickly you need to drop the weight you should be able to keep the same workout routine you have and get the majority of your weight loss from diet (i hope your diets up to par).

There are great weight cutting threads in the FAQ here and in the diet and supps FAQ
