A lot of people seem to enjoy it. I know that they promote many excersizes that I can't physically do so it is useless to me. Many people say it is very good though. Everybody I know who uses it likes it.

I started doing some of their routines a few months ago.

I suck at them, but continue to do them to improve.

For now I doing the Holiday Program that Chia mentioned in a post a while back (2 day program), with a third day of crossfit (cardio/bodyweight exercise based WOD) and a fourth day of a 3 mile run.

It definitely opened my eyes to the Olympic lifts and all the pull ups and handstands.

I watched some of their videos and it looks pretty good. The "nasty girl" one is crazy.

I've too have added certain exercises for conditioning purposes but they don't replace strength training with weights.

The thing i like best about them is their infectious attitude of training "guerrilla" using any available resource...this idea that the world is your gym is very empowering.

My goal is to workout for one hour every day. In those 7 hours per week I want to get in cardio, grip work, and weight training. Crossfit has become a part of my routine in that it has lended a lot of WOD's to the times I want to do cardio without running (which is always, cause I hate running). So, while I don't think it's at ALL a complete routine for ANYONE, the WOD's can make for fun breaks from normal work. I'm saving my favorites and when I feel particularly energetic and productive, I'll add them to my GPP generator. My primary goals are for strength (I'm no fighter), but that's no reason to let my conditioning lapse, and as much as I hate them toting their "crossfit is the best" mentality, they do seem to have a place in my routine. though I find most of the time their workouts only last for 15-20 minutes, so I need to find other less strenuous methods of filling the remaining 40 minutes of my workout.
