Cramps in feet

It seems like I can stretch all of my muscles out very well before training, but my feet seem to constantly cramp up. I try stretching the toes an muscles on my feet but that just seems to make the problem worse. Anyone else have problems like this? Any suggestions on how to fix it.

step on a lacrosse ball, roll it around underneath your foot. You'll feel it when its in the right places

I have similar problems and I do a ball rolling technique like big_john127 said.

But in place of a lacrosse ball, I just use one of my Baoding(aka iron or chinese) balls since they're pretty small and I can focus them in on whatever area is really aching at that moment.

drink water, take a straight L-arginine product at a low dose!...too much and you'll cramp again... (like Allthewhey nutritions), eat bananas and avacados....

and continue the stretching....
I was plagued by this my entire sports career through college.. until I figured this out from the help of another...

Hope this helps!

what about buying foot appropriate shoes? I have a strong feeling the cramping of the feet is the direct result of wrong footwear for your type of foot. There are 3 basic foot types (underpronation, neutral, overpronation) and you need to find appropriate shoes. Some places do the free testing to determine the appropriate shoes. It may cost a little more but it should solve all the various foot problems that you get from wearing wrong shoes.

Thats what I thought too. I get pains in my archs (im pretty flat footed and under pronoate) and I know its because im using free 5.0's and from what I've heard on here they are sheit.
