Couture's workout

Who has or is currently doing the Couture workout where he does 6 or seven exercises without rest and takes 60 seconds break? So far it's been an ass kicker for me, but the only problem I have with it is the upright rows. To me they don's seem to fit in the workout, therefore I omitted them.

I've never seen the Couture workout, but I try to rest as little as possible between sets and exercises. More calories burned and testosterone released that way. Also better conditionin'.

why dont the upright rows fit? they seem to fit right in for me. also, im going to hazard a guess, and say whoever designed that program for couture included those upright rows for a reason.

For bent over rows, squats, overhead press, straight leg deadlifts, split squats 95lbs. is a weight I can use for all five sets, but upright rows with 95 lbs for 5 sets of 10 is way too much and becomes the limiting exercise in the circuit. So, do I drop weight and do the cicuit with a weight I can upright row and have the rest of the bodyparts suffer, or do I just omit the exercise or add a replacement?

I'm not a big fan of upright rows. They tweak my shoulders too much. I have done Randy's circuit in the past but instead of upright rows, I replaced them with power cleans.

You got any studies which prove the "testosterone released" comment? A link would be handy.

Thanks.

That's exactly the execise I thought of adding. How'd that work for you?

I would add in there reverse grip curl to tricep press, or two hand punches with the barbell, just because I really like those exercises :-)
