Conditioning/Tabata/Interval Training CD

hey do any of you guys know of a CD or mp3 that is broken down by rounds.

I was doing the Bas Rutten CDs the other day and I realized how nice it would be to have a Tabata CD, or a CD that is broken into 30 second intervals.

It would be much easier to time transitions than having to be near a clock...

hahaha I wish I was savy enough to make one.

here's what I think it would need:

a track that is 8 minutes in length. divided into
20 sec on, 10 rest. repeated 16 times.

a track that is 20 minutes of music with beaps or announcements every 30 seconds for interval stuff. like 30 secs of burpees, then 30 sec jump rope... etc.

a track of 2 minute rounds for shadow boxing or bag work. like 5 rounds. 1 minute rest.

a track of 3 minute rounds for shadow boxing or bag work. again 5 rounds. 1 minute rest.

a track of 5 minute rounds for MMA/grappling. 1 minute rest.

for the "round" tracks I would picture them being exactly like the Bas tapes but instead of him yelling combos, it would just be an announcement of "ROUND 1" then 2 minutes of music. then end. then announcement of 1 minute rest. then "ROUND 2"

it could also have 40 sec / 20 sec split for a jog/spring interval or for a alternate tabata interval.

so maybe sherdog can make one and sell it.

Google search tabata mp3 and you'll find some. I know I have a couple, an LL Cool J song and some popular post-2000 metal band.

cool, I'll dl those when I get home tonight.

I do think someone who knows how to edit audio should put together some other tracks though.

it would be great to have Bas-like stuff fo rother routines.

I use the Tabata mp3 that Urban has on his homepage. It's perfect.

I made, 3 minute, and 5 minute rounds CD with just a whistle at the start and end of each round with just the simple sound recorder program that comes with Windows. I just hooked up a mic to the computer and blew a whislte at the start and end of each round and looped it for 10 rounds each.

this will give you some insight into my training

if you have winamp look on google for this power hour drinking game plug in

and you can load up your playlist and it will play the first minute of 60 songs

so you can do 1 minute intervals with no effort on your part
