Conditioning Suggestions for a Beginner

Alright, so here's my situation.

I'm 16 years old and a relative newcomer to the concepts of mixed martial arts, even though I have participated in Tae Kwon Do for quite a while and have done wrestling for my high school's team. What I'm looking for are suggestions for exercises, drills, and workouts that focus on strength training, conditioning, and endurance. I've tried multiple times in the past to put together my own training regimens until recently I came to the conclusion that I honestly don't know what I am doing, and so I figured I should do the intelligent thing and use other resources instead of continually trying and failing. And please don't flame me if I've put this in the wrong area or something, just a simple redirection would be great. If I've been too vague or I am not clear enough in what I am asking just post a question or message me.

get a dumbell and snatch it 100 times, or when in doubt do 100 burpees.

Eh...snatch? You've got to understand, when I say I am a relative newcomer I mean I am incredibly ignorant. I know what burpees are but if you could give some sort of description of what a snatch is or a link or something it would be appreciated.

Hasn't your wrestling coach or TKD teacher given you any conditioning at all?
If not, read the stickies, specifically the FAQs linked below, and then ask questions if there's something in there you don't understand.

Well the conditioning that I've gotten has been subpar at best and I'm looking to improve it on my own seeing as how my instructors seem unwilling to press me enough even when I ask them to. What I really need is to find a different training center, but I currently don't have enough money/independence to sign up for a different school, as much as I would like to (I really want to train Muay Thai or Jiu Jitsu). So you see my predicament. But thank you for your assistance and I plan on checking those threads as soon as possible.

Send a message via AIM to Jake Martin
www.rosstraining.com

Check out his free articles, and if you like what you see I recommend picking up a copy of his Infinite Intensity book. That has all the conditioning info you'll need in it.
