conditioning with leg injuries
hi all I had acl reconstruction surgery about 5 weeks ago, i was wondering if anyone had any casual input on ways to get a pretty intense cardio workout with limited use of the legs. right now i'm doing 2x 25 minute circuits 5 times through. circuit includes 10 hanging leg raises, 100 crunches, 15 chin ups, 25 dips, 10 standing plate twists w/ 45 pound weight, and 25 push ups. It's hard but it's nothing really close to what i used to be able to do with two good legs. I've talked to my doctor and therapist and anything with too much bending or lateral movement is out. I'd love to hear from someone who has gone through the same thing.
