Bodyweight

Bodyweight is defanitely a factor in this challenge... there should be a multiplier X bodyweight that is factored into the final grade ;)

Honestly though.. the only flaw I see in the challenge is all the anaerobic excercises are at the start and then the rest is aerobic... I am sure the transition at the beginning of the run is taxing but if you really wanted to mix anaerobic and aerobic excercise you could try this at a track and perform 20 pushups/situps in between each lap. I dont see alot of tracks with a chinup bar handy so that might be hard but this way would be much more taxing and represent fighting closer with the anaerobic bursts present within an aerobic matrix.

depends, do you read from the bottom up??

Strutz, the BW exercises become alot more challenging when you place them all together and have time to worry about, so yeah super setting would make quicker times but try blasting out that final few pushups when your arms are shot and your chest feels like its inflated with blood. Give it a shot.

I'm familiar with pushing my muscles to failure through multiple sets of anaerobic activity... It just seemed that part of your "challenge" was the blend of both aerobic and anaerobic. This isnt much of a blend but more like going after a run after doing your workout ;p

From the time I hit my 50th push-up until about 20 minutes after the test was over I wasn't able to catch my breath.

My understanding was the goal behind this test is the overall conditioning level. When you have zero rest between your anaerobic and aerobic exercises it does a good job of testing that.

well..

Anytime you pack a bunch of excercises together and impose a time limit its gonna be rough due to lack of rest/no rest between sets... was just commenting that alternating the aerobic and non aerobic components would be more original and challenging ... sorry to pee in your cheerios

Dead feckin last... What have I become?

Well, quite some incentive for the summer cardio-fest, I guess. Considering I was fine with the swings and snatches, maybe I should've run on my hands instead.
