Ok are you doing a CHIN or a pullup? chins are palms facing you with a close hand grip, they are the easiest. Pullups with a wide grip with palms away are hardest. Both are good exercises.
Your trying to hard man
Take a couple days off and let your lats and bi's recover, then when you go back add some weights, i would do 5x5 with weighted CHINS and it helped me alot. Try that for a few workouts (say a week or 2 worth ) and don't do this mulitple times a day. Then take 2 days off and then when your nice and fresh at the beginning of a workout hit up the regular high rep BW CHINS.

I had an whole big reply and sherdog messed it up so you get the condensed version now.
1. your doing too much, take a few days off 2 - 3
2. doing CHINS or pullups? CHINS should be palms facing and hands close
3. What worked for me is changing to 5x5 weighted CHINS on lifting days, 2 on 1 off 2 on 2 off was my split. You could even do every other day for 1 or 2 weeks. Just work up to your 5 rep max.
4. After the week(s) of weighted CHINS take 2 days off then at the beginning of your workout go for BW for reps.
EDIT: *shakes fist at sherdog*

19:58. Score of 70
Got up early this morning, decided to do this despite the fresh, light snow. Fuck you mother nature, fuck you.
Pushups were easy, situps even easier. But those chins fucking killed me. I figured I'd be way over 20 mins because of the chins, so I booked it during the run to make up for it.
EDIT: BW of 183, weighed myself just before.

Nice work Alan, and better work telling Ma nature off. We just got a shitpile of the white crap here, but hpefully it'll be gone by this weekend.

I've been sunbathing all week. North Atlantic current FTW.
So I've got my route planned and am ready to go. I'm not expecting tonight to render my best time though seeing as I haven't ran properly in a couple of months, but I do expect at least >22 mins.

Fucking pathetic. Blasted the chins and situps, but the goddamn pushups! I've always hated doing them. Ended up barely able to crank out 5's after 70. And it just got worse from there with the run - too heavy, too hot, too fucking much...
This workout has to become the new staple of my routine. I'll have a sub-20 minute time by summer's end.
