Circuit Training

Hey, I'm new to this board, but I'm wondering about circuit training. Right now, I have BJJ three times a week, which I usually am sore from because I'm only 140-143 lbs and everyone else is considerablye heavier. I am trying to gain weight, lifting 3-4 times a week, and I know I've been eating right (complex carbs, high fiber, low sugar, not too much or too little protein) but I've had a lack of cardio work. I'm not out of shape or anything, my scale says I'm 5-6% body fat, but I'd like to improve my endurance, whether it be cardio or muscular. Do any of you guys have any suggestions regarding including circuit training in my regimen? The circuit routines I've usually seen include stuff like pushups and ab work, would I need to wait like 48 hours after working my chest and abs with weight to do that, or could I just sub in other exercises depending on what I've worked and when?

How exactly would the two routines be different? I do think I have been lifting more along the lines of bodybuilding, how do I lift more for strenght and power? What I've been doing so far is lifting at the heaviest weight I can do for 6-10 reps, 1 minute of rest between each set.
