conditioning and lifting

How do you guys do it? I did the 100 snatch challenge yesterday and I was totally sore today and couldnt lift any of the things I had planned to.(granted I did it with a 45lb dumbbell and I only weigh 140) It seems like doing conditioning just kills my strength. Any suggestions on recovering faster/any ways of being able to do both because right now it isnt working for me.

Are you still new to training? it takes awhile for your body to get used to it.

Some other things that will help you
  • Proper diet
  • Get enough sleep
  • Active recovery
  • Foam Rollers and such
  • Contrast Showers
