Broken hand hurts!

I read the "injury" sticky and i hope this complies. I broke my 4th and 5th ****carpal in my right hand in a fight i had about two weeks ago. Just had surgery and had pins and plates installed. A couple questions. Has any sherdogger had this procedure done and still able to fight? And what type of measurements can i take so this won't happen again? I was thinking about breaking blocks and stuff like they do in karate cuz i know that helps densify bone. Any advice would be helpful!! Btw, i broke my hand in the first and just lost the decision, i'm proud of myself for that lol. Thanks ppl

Don't try to condition your hands, you can't. You will get very bad arthritis if you try. Suck it up, heal, hope it doesn't happen again.

There is truth behind bone strengthening, i believe it's woolfs law or something to that affect, the long term affects on a such a mobile portion of your body may not be too good though.

Good wrapping and solid punching technique is about all you can do for competition, top quality mits and good wraps (done well) is the best option for training.
