body type help

What's up. I had a question about changing body type-

I've been training fairly regularly the past few months. I'm in better shape...but I look almost the same in terms of body shape. i got wide shoulders, decent sice chest, normal arms and legs. But I got a slight gut, and my (cough) buns are a little big too (S shape ).

Am I stuck with a Lidell/Fedor body shape, where no matter how healthy I am, I'll always have that slight plumpness...or am I doing something wrong? Basically, can I tone down my butt, and get a six pack?

Thanks

I don't know why people give liddell crap about his "gut". The guy is solid, and most would be lucky to have the athletic build he does.

Here are some questions...
1- Is your ass muscular or fat? If it's muscular, just deal with the fact you have powerful glutes (IMO it's an advantage)

2- Is your gut flabby or more like a beer gut? Getting six pack abs is not so much about doing a crapload of situps, but has to do with body fat %. Cross country dudes are weak as hell and would get dropped by a punch but have "killer" abs since they run all day and are made entirely of skin and bones.

It all depends what kinda cardio and weightlifting you are doing. Mix it up between sprints, long distance, etc (just to cover all the bases). Keep up a good weight routine (check out S&P forums). In addition, take a closer look at your diet!

Most guys like bigger butts. What type of body are you trying to get to like Jessica Biel? I mean what woman is the ideal body type you'd like to get to?

Just watch what you eat and do some core workouts for your gut. Squats for your ass.

Hes trying to lose fat, doing core workouts and squats will not get rid of the fat on his gut or his bum.

Sounds like your talking about 'spot reduction' whichs is a load of bull.

I would say that firstly you must realize whether you are comfortable with your bodyweight and fat percentages. Maybe you still need to lose some weight?
Other than that, there is only so much you can do to change your body shape. As for the gut, probably try doing some ab work and it will get stronger and better looking.
As for the glutes, just wait until your legs grow and it will all look more balanced.

regards.

Wait Sgt. Angel Eyes is a guy? Why the hell is he talking about plumpness, the shape of his butt, and size of his chest?
