My buddy worked as a bike courier. He thought that he would get in great shape from all the riding he was doing. What happen was he got in pretty good at riding a lot at a real slow pace so he never really got an aerobic workout.
He figured he would run up stairs and race other couriers but found that after the novelty of riding all the time wore off, he just took it easy so he could make it through a day without burning out.
So my guess is that you will still be able to work out after a month or so of constant riding. He got pretty sick of being on his bike.
Stockholm in the summer riding around all week sounds pretty sweet. Enjoy!
