We also do them using the tabata intervals for but do them for 12 reps for 6 minutes of work (same as a wrestling match) and its a flipping killer.
I know people wont understand it but let me tell you I spend the weekend training 100% with this system at John Brookfields place and its was awesome.
This topic will be covered in depth at our seminar in August.
Its a great workout of combat athletes and is a real test of mental toughness. That last drill we did with the partners. The loser had to do 100 yard sprints so it was go until someone stopped or dropped.
