Anyone have a positive experience with pain relief ointments
I have a strained muscle in my foot. I am unable to take Ibprofen pills due to ulcerative colitis. I was wondering if anyone has had good experience with Ibprofen creams, or stuff like tiger palm, biofreeze and so on, to help heal injured muscles?

I put that stuff on after a shower and the burning makes me forget about my joint pain.

i do use icy hot from time to time. i've read somewhere that the menthol oil is supposed to have anti-inflammitory effects, but i've never really looked into it.

icy would be the best thing you could do, most likely.

I love muscle rubs. Icy hot is good, Tiger Balm is better. I wish I could bathe in that stuff...would have to come up with a way to cover the balls though...
