Anyone else like this

I love fighting and competeing but I hate the thought of training. I mean with me during the day I dread getting my ass in the ym and putting in the work but once I am there I love it and you can't get me to leave. Its the getting there in the gym, gloves on, getting my ass kicked that is the hardest for me.

Anyone else like this

I am the complete opposite, i just wish training to be over when i'm feeling like death and i have a couple more flights of stairs or another set left in the gym. I'll usually limp my way home, have a protein shake and think "man i'm going to try harder next time", from there on i look forward to training

I'm kind of like this. I'll go into training not really motivated and I'll tell myself that I should just break a sweat for 15-30 minutes. 90 minutes later I'm usually still going.

There's many a day I can come up with 10,000 excuses not to head to the gym. Once I'm there I'm damn glad I didn't jam out, and I always feel like a million bucks afterwards.

One thing I do to make sure I go is take my preWO mixture--B50, pseudoephedrine, carb/protein mix. After I down that stuff, I figure I HAVE to go, or I get to sit around and twitch out with elevated insulin and a jacked up heart rate.

This happens to me all the time. It is a damn good feeling when you go to the gym and get a hard workout in on those days.

Ya the thing with me is I have to drive an hour and a half, each way, to train with the type of guys I need to train with but at the end of a days works its hard to talk myself into the drive.

90 min drive, that sucks. I can see how that would be demoralizing.

I'm feeling very much like I CBF training tonight. Happens every tuesday and thursday (which co-incidentally happen to be the days i do weight training on my lunch break). I always end up convincing myself by saying i'll just take it easy. Then i get there, and the girls will start showing up for their class and for some strange reason my work rate will increase dramatically...

Getting there is definitely the hardest part for me, once I'm there I get all amped and put in a lot of effort. Very rarely do I actually get to the gym and not bust my ass.
