Any ever try using nasal strips to help breath.

I was given a nasal strip before one of my wrestling matches by a teammate. I decided to give it a try and it seemed like i could intake more air through my nose and i was controlling my breathing. I suggest this to any grapplers.MMA fighters,Wrestlers.

I think they help alot also, I always try and swab the area with alcohol before putting them on also, they seem to stay on alot longer that way, or maybe I'm just greasy..LOL!!

I always thought of these as a gimmick. Don't know why exactly, just did. I guess it wouldn't hurt (too much) to try them though.

these things rock. i don't wear them during workouts, but if I'm going to the "Friday Fights" class at my jiujitsu school (all hard core rolling with competing blue/ purple belts) these things rock. I feel so much more alert wearing them. maybe it's just a mental thing, but i've felt like i can try to fight out of triangle for longer when i have one on.

i might help slightly... but i think its more of a mental thing to keep you thinking about breathing... but i could be wrong...

whatever helps you to breathe... do it
