Anaerobic

Ok normaly this doesn't matter so much in my training because I Train the two seperatly but Ive been doing a lot of reading on anaerobic and aerobic stamina and one thing I can't quite figure out, (and I think its because I work out to how my body feels and try do decifer what Ive read, by how I feel) Is lets say I jog 4 miles, Total Aerobic conditioning, but then go right into my sprint work, am I still working the Aerobic side of my conditioning or does yer body find the differance. I guess I ask this because It feels more like aerobic conditioning after a long jog. and if Im right how long of a rest will It take to turn the sprints back into anaerobic conditioning? and its not just sprints Lets say im doing sets of burpies they feel so much easier after a longer run than If I just did a light 15 min warm up.

Maybe because you have gone for a run, you are more drained then you think and hence you are doing a lower intensity sprint work (although maybe you are just mroe warmed up for the burpees).

Your body doesn't need to work into anaerobic work. Once you're heart rate goes above your lactate threshold, you're in the anaerobic training zone. On a 200m sprint I will get into the anaerobic zone whether I have been for a long warm up or not.

I'm sure at some point others will chime in with their input.

sprints are anaerobic regardless if you warm up or not. You feel tired after you run 4 miles bc you're ATP and muscle glycogen are semi depleted.
