all round conditioning

Ok so my goal is basically to get bigger and stronger, but i need to raise my CV fitness for MT. Is this best done by training both, every week? eg running and lifting on alternate days?
I work full time (41hrs) so getting good training time in is tuff. Basically i go Muay Thai monday, wed, fri, sat and TKD (yeh u may say pointless but im red stripe, might aswell get blackbelt!)tues, sun. thurs is my only free eve. I can get my technical work done in the gym/ring/dojang. fitting in aerobic work is not a prob in the morning but i know this can have a bad effect on strength etc. Thurs i can lift, poss a bodybuilding type workout 5-8 reps etc but will it be pointless once a week?If my diet is good (high prot etc) would it be poss to put on muscle doing this much cardio? anyone have exp of this? Im sure a lot of peeps want to be bigger and stronger... wot are your exp? is one iron workout a week enuff to add muslce?

By doing it just on thursday gains would be slow, and although not the ideal situation (2-3 is perfect), its better then nothing

and yes, you can

edit- I'd say doing some lifting in the morning and work the CV at training

Make sure you get atleast 1 day of vegging out, helps you prevent burnout and injuries from taking hold

I think you are spreading yourself thin. Why not just train TKD OR MT for a month or two while doing weights more often and bumping up your calories(protein alone does NOT make you bigger!!!!!!)? Once you gained a few extra lbs of muscle do what you have planned now and you should be able to maintain.

Your typically the strongest early in the morning. Levels of testosterone in particular are generally the highest early in the morning. Its also a great way to kick start your metabolism

Dude, your MT and TKD should be providing serious CV stimulus as it is...
