Advice?

I have two friends that are interested in getting fit. They are twins, and have both been overweight until about a year ago, in which they got their first job at a theme park, and lost a huge amount of weight.

They are currently employed at FedEx, as package handlers, and have maintained their weight loss quite well from the job.

I think the goal for them is to shed a bit more weight, and become a bit more scuplted, which is why I was looking to you guys for advice.

What would you suggest as far as a routines goes? I want to try an keep it bodyweight for now, just to get them doing something that they can easily do at home.

I was thining along the lines of 15 minute workout, they could do every other day:

Tabata Push Ups - 4 minutes
Tabata Crunches- 4 minutes
Tabata Hindu Squats- 4 minutes
Bridge Work -3 minutes

Hope you get some good answers for this.

Since they are twins, this is a prime opportunity to put them on different programs and see which is more effective.

if they are truly beginners do u think the tabata prefix might be too much? maybe just pushups, crunches, bw squats, etc..., maybe in a circuit.

also if weight loss is key...maybe some running or walking also?

Looking to get toned=lose more body fat so make sure they are eating well.

As for the workouts, as Jalopee suggested, maybe just do a circuit for the first two or three weeks?

Sort out there diet and do some LSD work

I would agree with Jalopee....if they're beginners, they've lost the previous weight through having a active job nbut not actually training, sending them to do tabata would be demoralising and god knows if they just want to get the 'sculpted look' they aren't going to like the pain associated with tabata.

Also, make them lift to increase their matabolism
