Adapting to running and weight loss schedule

Right, I went on a army POC thing last week and I'll tell you, my running ability is terrible so I have decided to get more miles in my legs and try and drop some weight (a fast run in a forest for 6 miles with firemen carries up and down a hill and bw work didn't go well for me at 13.5 st). My legs were shot to be honest with all the sprinting up hills and getting past the man in front stuff.
Too much muscle on my legs I think. I ended up having to vomit after about 20 minutes after it finished from the lactic acid build up.

So I have decided there is a manor house near me with about 1000 square acres give or take so I'm going to on the weekends do some running and some walking because the terrain is so varied.

This is my plan at the moment

Monday- Long run/row/swim/cycle
Tuesday- HIIT
Wednesday- Long run/swim/row, cycle
Thursday- Hill Sprints
Friday- off
Sat-Long/farklegs (sp?) run in the park (sprint up hills basically when I find one...which is going to be a lot)
Sunday- Walk

I'm going to throw in some low rep work to try and keep some muscle, but to be honest I'm pretty well build so to drop some weight I'm going to have to lose some muscle.

I need to get some thai training in the pm as well, which will be fun

How does this look.

It wasn't a case of getting in mate. They sponsor you to get to Sandhurst, but once there it means nothing. And I didn't get that.

But yeah, my running was complete shit. 3 weeks before I got 8 min 49 on the 1.5, I went on the same run, same route last week and it was 9 min 42. I was like wtf is going on here.

So I have decided I need to really drop weight (and probably some muscle mass) for the time being

Looks good (I wish I had somewhere to swim). When you say "long run/row/swim/cycle" do you mean you will be doing all those things or picking one of them?

One thing I would highly suggest is sticking a day of rest or non-running exercise in between those 4 days at the beginning of the week, unless of course you are only swimming on one of those days or cycling etc. When I first started running, I made the mistake of running 4-5 days in a row...this is not good and results in various problems. Especially if you fee like you are carrying too much weight, running is killer on the joints.

Oh, and fartlek is the correct sp

I'll be picking one mate. I was thinking like you to add some variety to save on the injuries and to get some overal conditioning. I'm going to stick some burpees and what not onto the end of the long sessions I think, but we'll see how it goes.

I'm bored at work, hence the quick response
