Abs, for the millionth time
No this isnt another generic "how can I go from a beer belly to ripped abs in 7 days or less" thread" This one is far more specific.
My abs overall are quite satisfactory *shows abs, crowd appaulds*
However im finding my solar plexus is frightfully weak. And what I mean by weak is, when it gets punched really hard, it hurts.
Before you light the torches....
I know doing basic ab exercises isnt going to give me bullet proof abs, but I would like some imput from you guys as to what helped you toughen up your plexus so you didnt get winded everytime your sparring partner docked his fist in your port.

You can't hypertrophy your abs "upward" to protect your solar plexus any more than you can hypertrophy them "downward" to protect your junk. Look at the most juiced-up bodybuilder pics you can find: you can still identify where the solar plexus is. Actually, the low BF% makes it even easier.
No amount of hypertrophy can shield this physiological vulnerability.

and to the TS I think some people genetically have lower pecs or high abs, that looks like it masks the solarplexus, but its there and isnt protected

Is that a fact. I just assumed the abdomen also covered the plexus. Well thats a slice of depressing news. Got to say, I woke up happier this morning than ill be going to bed knowing that...

yeah, I assumed it covered the abs because it 'looks' like it does. Thanks for the anatomy lesson boys.

Dude I dont htink people have "weaker" solarplexus. For almost every guy, getting hit in the solarplexus is like getting hit in the groin, just a sweetspot you wanna protect

+1... It's a one-of-a-kind thing you just cannot improve. Don't lose sleep over it. Like steakeater said, protect your shit the best you can.

It's hardly one-of-a-kind. No amount of hypertrophy is going to shield your nuts, your eyes, knees, elbows, various points on the skull, etc...your body can't "grow muscle" everywhere...

The best thing you can do is keep your elbows in.
