5k

Running my first 5k this Saturday.. so I'm about 4 days out..

I haven't really been training specifically for running or a 5k for that matter, but I feel like I'm in decent shape. Anyways, I ran a mock 5k this morning in about 21:98, not really pushing myself that hard because I've been crazy sore for the past few days.

Anyways, do you guys have any suggestions for pre race? or perhaps a day or two before? Tips on getting your body "ready" to race (less running + training), more towards eating, baths, massage, prerace food + drink (right right before) (I already eat clean, berardi & what not)?

My goal? somewhere in the 19's for race day, having not ran for about a month prior to this morning.

Thanks guys

It pisses me off that people can not train and still be faster than me. I guess I can just go on telling myself I am probably stronger/sexier/smarter/etc.

I may not be able to run fast but maybe I can outrun reality.
