Today was the lightest I've been in a while. I've been running 227-230.
And no, I never do high rep snatches. Typically singles, maybe up to 3 every once in a while and I prefer the barbell variety. PR'd 145 on the barbell last week.

bah, did this tonight after some relatively low-volume hill sprinting
BW 150
35lbs dumbell snatch:
3:38
boo-hiss!
When I go heavy with snatches, I have a habit of holding it locked out overhead in kind of a defiant "I did it!" gesture, and I think it carried over to this, cause I found myself not lowering the weight immediately on a few reps, hah

I don't think it'll be that bad aside from the forearm spasms and the feeling that yours abs have been pulled apart the next day

I do the same thing with barbell bent presses, I tend to just stand there with the weight held overhead and grin like a cheshire cat. Actually realised I was doing the same thing when I learnt the full snatch the other day, was so happy when I caught the barbell at the bottom I was sitting there with the weight overhead for a second and gloating before I stood up.
BTW - maybe I have a one track mind, but should we perhaps change the thread title a bit. People might get the wrong idea about what kind of endurance we're going for here.

You'd still be sore after 100 snatches, either way you look at it.

Yeah, yeah. The ice packs and heating pads are ready. Let's do this, haha.

You'd probably still also hold that silly shit-eating grin. And check yourself in the mirror as you lock it out.

Yeah, but then having a sub-3 minute time isn't exactly impressive.
