The repeated reps that I did were on account of my short attention span/rush to get it done before the meat was done. Basically, I didn't lock up top on 4-5 reps, then I reset.

This challenge may be easy but it at least deserves your undivided attention. Can't you unthaw your meat afterwards?

LOL. True, sonny. I couldn't find my timer so I had to use the microwave timer. Since I needed to make dinner too....

*goes looking for stopwatch*

I'm about your size too, but my muscular conditioning is definitely my weak point.

Challenges like this give me incentive to improve it.
Ditto-ish - I took a few breaths at the 60 mark and shook my arms out. After that there was only numbness, void, shrieking nothingness... then sweet victory. I focused on minimising stress on shoulder/arm muscles by keeping them as loose as possible, and using a lot of pop in the hips. Power up into the lockout and you're done - failing only drains more strength. I am having trouble minimising the effort of the drop however...

BTW it seems like the 20 rep squats I'm on have done some good for my anaerobic threshold and posterior chain endurance, but the main benefit I think is the mental aspect - i.e. the ability to compartmentalise the reps ("just this ten... just this ten...") and to simply stop thinking.

45lb version (actually used a 21kg DB, so that's 46lbs but what the hell)

SmashiusClay/4:55/175lbs

Note to self: This is probably not best done after a workout consisting almost entirely of Snatches.

Wanna join the 500 rep fun this sunday?

Clearly my burpee talents don't translate well over to this challenge.
