I'm not sure if that's really a "snatch". I'm hardly an expert, but I think it's supposed to be more explosive, where as your more "swinging". Hopefully someone with a little more knowledge will explain it better.

Hard to say with the angle, some of the ones especially with the left looked like swings to me when i watched the elbow movement. Needed a bit more of a lockout as well for some of the reps
Really good time though

Standard, give me a couple days to challenge this. I'm going to do Cindy again tomorrow, and then this the next day/ day after.

They definitely weren't swings. Yep, looking at it, alot do look sloppy and a little swingy but the lack of soreness in my delts, but decent soreness in my Traps says they were Snatches..
I'm really not sure how you could do decent strict form snatches for timed reps, especially with a weight thats too light.
Anyone else got a vid of their attempts?
For the record, i never do Snatches, and usually stick to 5 or less reps for weights..

The reason they are saying its more of a swing and not a snatch is your not dropping under the weight at all. I know its a light weight which makes it easy, but the whole point of a snatch is to explosively jump up with the weight then drop under it as the weight is still going up, landing with the weight in an over head position.
