I tried this today. Im actually adding it into my conditioning. I did a boxing workout, shadowboxing, speed bag and heavy bag followed by 100 snatches @ 35lbs. Then medicine ball and eleptical work.

Its harder then I thought. I switched every 10 reps because I want to work both sides. I didnt time it because I was just in the middle of a workout and dont have a stop watch. It was under 10 minutes but I couldnt guess any better then under 10.

I know Im a white belt but Im gonna time it soon anyway just too see. In a few weeks though 5 minutes shouldnt be a problem, especially if I do it before and not after a workout.

I don't post here that often so I'll be a whitebelt for awhile. Anyways I remembered to time them tonight.

I shadowboxed, hit the speed bag and worked the heavy bag. Then 100 snatches with 35lbs in 6 minutes. I used my cellphone for time so I just rounded up to the minute. Im 175lbs. There taxing but great, I love them so much now.

Big improvement from last time (7:30). I didn't pace myself at all this time. I was balls-to-the-blast-fence the whole time. Lost a few seconds around rep 30 when one of the clips fell off and the weights went flying. No one was killed.
That's unfortunate.

Whitebelt... I know, I know.. Anywho, 45lb x 100 @ 5:25. My form didn't feel right until around the 60th rep when 45lb started getting heavy and I took a 20 sec break. I'll do this again when I shed the pale belt.

Wow.. that was a rediculous work out.. Im gunna add it into my workout once a week now..
My time was 4:07 and I weigh 166... But unfortunately I only had a 40 lb dumbbell available to me so i just did that instead of 35 or 45..

Question to anyone who has done this.... None of you do 100 with one arm right?.. I had to do 30- R arm, 30-L arm, 15- R arm, 15- L arm and 10 R-arm to finish up.. I thought Id be able to do more than 30... my wrists gave out first (obv)

My time is not competition eligible, but I'm posting it anyway and no one can stop me. The first time I finished in 4:52 and a few days later got it down to a 4:32 (using a 35 at 177). That really kicked my ass, I don't know if I'll be able to get much lower than that, it was pretty hard. I'll definitely be working these in once a week or so cuz I couldn't breathe for like 5 minutes after I finished.

I tired some heavy dumbell snatches today and it really torqued my elbow arthritis BUT I can't wait to do the 45lb challenge a in few days. I think the lighter weight wiill be easy on my joints I'm confident I will do very well.

I went ahead and did this. I think the reason the HW's have better time is we get more momentum on the pull.

I had to do these in front of a mirror to watch my form but I definately think that in a few weeks of technique practice I can break 3min. I wasn't all that winded.

Today was 45lbs. 4:14 252lbs BW.
