Weird pain after squatting

Two weeks ago I was squatting heavy and on the 3rd rep of the 3rd set, I felt some discomfort in what felt like my ass bone. Don't know what it is exactly. Doesn't seem like the coccyx cause it's more on the right side than in the middle, and more under. Like the part of your ass you would sit on when sitting in a chair. And it doesn't feel like the muscle. Anyway, I continued on with the sets and tried to adjust my position to get rid of the discomfort. I found that when I stick my ass out more, the more uncomortable it is. On the last set it became painful.

The next day I had a dull, aching pain in that part of my ass "bone" for a few hours. After a week, it seemed to completely go away. That week I went heavy on Deads. And as I lowered the weight to the ground, I got that pain again, although not as bad as when I squatted.

So I'm resting again and will go light on the squats/deads until fully healed. But I'd like to get back to going heavy at some point.

Does anyone know what could cause this pain? It hurt more as I stuck my ass out during squats, but every article I've read says to do just that. Perhaps I should bring my pelvis in more? I'm not sure really, I just don't want it to happen again.

Classic case of "fractured asshole".

Classic case of shitty form and too much weight. Take a break.

I was just being a smartass, but how do you know his form sucked without seeing it? Furthermore, I'm going to out on a limb and say anything you can do for a triple, isn't "too much weight."

To the OP: Doctors know stuff. Seek one.

perhaps strained one of the tendons....watch your form...THROUGHOUT the lift....yes lowering the bar is also part of the lift....make sure to lower the bar evenly and in the same plane you raised it.....

There's some great analysis, considering he didn't post a video.

I doubt that. Perhaps you could post a vid and people here can critique your form. For the most part you want to sit back in the hole so I doubt bringing your pelvis forward would be a solution to improper form.

The most common sense advice here is to see a doctor. Most of us here are not doctors or specialist and even if we were I doubt it's easy to diagnose injuries over the internet. See a doctor, dude.
