Weird pain after squatting
Two weeks ago I was squatting heavy and on the 3rd rep of the 3rd set, I felt some discomfort in what felt like my ass bone. Don't know what it is exactly. Doesn't seem like the coccyx cause it's more on the right side than in the middle, and more under. Like the part of your ass you would sit on when sitting in a chair. And it doesn't feel like the muscle. Anyway, I continued on with the sets and tried to adjust my position to get rid of the discomfort. I found that when I stick my ass out more, the more uncomortable it is. On the last set it became painful.
The next day I had a dull, aching pain in that part of my ass "bone" for a few hours. After a week, it seemed to completely go away. That week I went heavy on Deads. And as I lowered the weight to the ground, I got that pain again, although not as bad as when I squatted.
So I'm resting again and will go light on the squats/deads until fully healed. But I'd like to get back to going heavy at some point.
Does anyone know what could cause this pain? It hurt more as I stuck my ass out during squats, but every article I've read says to do just that. Perhaps I should bring my pelvis in more? I'm not sure really, I just don't want it to happen again.
