Weighted vest Push ups

I'm thinking of purchasing a weighted vest to mix in with my push ups routine. Have any of you guys ever tried this before? and if you have, can you reccomend a comfortable vest?

No experience unfortunately, but if your short on money and want to try it out a regular backpack with something heavy in (small sandbags for instance) can be a good substitute.

If nothing else you can try that kind of training out and see if its worth the money...

They are expensive as hell. A backpack or a used army flak vest will usually be much cheaper.

I got a vest. It definitely better than back pack, since weight is distributed. However it presses on the stomach, making breathing uncomfortable.

Why not just do Bench, or throw a plate on your back? Weighted vests cost a shitload.
