I've been married 8+ years and have yet to take mine off...lifting, grappling, biking, climbing, working...whatever.

Yeah, it's scratched up and has a few dings. So what?

I suppose one day I might, just maybe, possibly, one-in-million chance have it catch on something and yank my finger - but I don't mind taking the chance.

My wife gets her ring(s) cleaned and would freak if they got the tiniest blemish...but her's cost over 6 grand. Mine was around $600 and I just don't care.

And congrats on getting married. All you need to know is "Happy wife, happy life."

Gotta go with ring off on this one, what if u were going for some super amazing pr and the extra weight of the ring held you down, thatd be lame.

Congrats!
I have two rings, one for work and my wedding. I hardly wear my wedding ring. I do however wear my work ring all the time. I bought a tungsten one. I work heavy construction and do heavy lifting. The ring will not scratch. I pull some pretty decent weight and have never had the ring interfere with my lifting.

If you ring is anything other than titanium or tungsten, you will chew it up if you wear it while lifting.

I take mine off at night. My fingers swell when I sleep, enough to wake me up if I have my ring on because it's uncomfortable. Since I lift in the morning, I just keep it in my nightstand until I'm done working out.

If you don't tell her that the 24/7/365 demand is ridiculous, then you might as well add a leash and collar to your daily outfit.

I just meant my wife's ring was expensive (for me), and mine wasn't - hence, I dont' give a fuck about it getting scratched.

I like the tungsten idea. I know what I want now.
