Are there adoptions here? (e/n)

Maybe it's a knee jerk reaction, but I had a horrible day in the gym today. This is particularly surprising considering that I'd had more rest going into today than any other day the past two months (within one week that is). The details are in my log, but it's not really important.
Because of what happened, I'm thinking about one of two options:

A. test hypothesis (routine sucks) for another week and see if I've hit a plateau because of my training methods
B. take up 5x5 (i'll probably end up having to do this at some point anyways because I would like to have time to train submission wrestling)

If I go B, I'm going to need someone who knows their stuff to help me for Day 0 (form) and I would like to know if that's done here.

While I'm at it, the FAQ says eating a lot is necessary, and recommends 1 pound of weight gain per week. If I'm looking to maintain weight but increase strength, can I keep the same food plan. I have limited resources as far as buying food, so i need to know if this is a pipe dream.

Thanks

you'll have to go to china for the adoption, its a lot of paperwork but fairly commonplace.

ok... you have just lost S&P posting privileges until you learn something... ANYTHING about lifting. Seriously? how are you gonna come in here and give advice without having an understanding of a BASIC and EXCEEDINGLY COMMON strength development program like 5x5. Go back to heavyweights.

Everything/Nothing
As in, a post that means everything to the poster, yet nothing to everyone else. Uh, zop, for some reason the forum has hiccuped and I can't read your post in my log or under your post history, could you repost it here?

I was going to say as much in nicer words, but I suppose this is effective enough. Regardless, do you have any suggestions Urban?

I think first of all you need to switch your split around.

Do three days of lower and two days of upper. You generate "hurtin' bombs" from your legs and butt, transferring the force to the fist is mostly technique. Are you alternating between dynamic effort and maximum effort? Sometimes if you constantly do maximum effort stuff it can really take a toll on your CNS and cause unexpected regressions like what you experienced.

It could also be a sleep or diet issue. I'm not an expert on diet, but it looks like it can be improved. Check out the D&S faq if you haven't already. Your lifting 5 days a week. Do you also do any training alongside it?
