24 hour fitness = Gay

I went to a local 24 today with a friend to check out a membership, what a rip off. Way overpriced(nearly 50 bucks a month), and you're NOT ALLOWED to do deadlifts! What is the world coming to?

I always wonder how they expect people to become strong at these gyms.

San Diego. I don't go there regularly, this was my first time. There was a sign with all the DONT's of the gym, and dead lifting was definitely included

Thats unfortunate, of all the gay things in my gym they atleast allow me to do whatever lift I want.

No video recording of any kind is my gripe with them.

I train at 24 hr fitness (several of them) and i know the signs of which you speak. Just do it anyway. I do DL's, olympic lifts, use chalk, swear, and sweat and bleed, and no one has said anything to me yet. All of my taped church vids have been recorded at 24 hr fitness as well. Just do it until they actually tell you to stop.
