Ok then my bench goes to 425, but keep in mind that was 10 years ago when I was 20 years old.

The Wilks number (I haven't actually looked into it, but I will give it a guess) is a number you can use to compare to others no matter weight. Obviously to squat or deadlift 1000 lbs. you would probably have to be 300+ pounds, but if you only weigh 150 and can squat 500 lbs. that may be just as impressive. So instead of comparing what weight you lift in a single lift, you can compare your Wilks number which will show how impressive your lifts are compared to your body weight.

I actually looked up Wilks and found this page....
http://www.isu.edu/~andesean/wform.htm

Just google it and you will see the explanations. They basically took the best lifts at the different body weights, then made a best fit curve graph. Using the equation of this curve, they came up with the Wilks formula, which compares your weight to your total lift body weight. By using this compared to the best lifts of all time, you have a somewhat accurate score to compare to others.

2.5 lbs at a time, it adds up after a few years.

Thanks for the picture dude, do you still do any competitive lifting now?
