well here is a story for you guys to laugh at, keep me motivated to maybe get on this list in 2 years. I just turned 30 a few weeks back and lifted for the first time in 11 years.
in highschool at 18 i came in second in the state powerlifting comp, i weighed 190 and did 450/310/500 (with a squat suit, knee wraps). Around 19 i really hadnt gained any strength much above that and the state teen records were all way out(jr records even more insane) of reach so i gave up. Fast forward 11 years of smoking and sitting at a computer.

So the other day i wanted to see where i stood, 5'8" 225lbs now. Almost killed myself with a 135 squat, couldnt believe how weak my low back and hamstrings felt at the bottom. Worked up to 135 on the bench but that barely went up. Did 65s on incline dumbell presses for reps though, that didnt make much sense to me. I guess my stabalizers are shot in general at the moment. Didnt even bother trying to dead lift after how my hamstrings and low back felt squatting.
so right now at 225 im:
135/135/0 270 total, wilks 73.90461

is there a most improved in 07 contest going on ?

Well that's some pretty good motivation to keep at it.

The most rewarding feeling you will have is when you look back in your log and see what you used to lift.

Standard - No offence intended, but with the rest of your numbers I'd be expecting a better bench, any ideaas what's holding you back? Should be looking for at least another 50odd pounds.

none taken, i know i suck at teh bench. Not entirely sure what the reason is but i'm terrible off the chest, have never had an issue with locking it out but the first couple inches off the chest just murder me. I've been working on my form and my tri's alot in an attempt to improve my bench but not too sure what else to do, and i've read Tate's article about the chest sticking point
