Actually I spent my teenage years in the army cadets (think boy scouts with assault rifles), was on my county's shooting team and can strip and reassemble the British army's rifle while blindfolded.

Of all the things you could have learned how to strip while blindfolded, you picked a rifle? ;)

Sounds like you're already a step or two ahead of the game for OCS, but best of luck to you anyway, Smashius.

I guess I'd better man up and get on here. I had a good routine going in Iraq, and made nice progress on my squats. I've taken some time off but am getting back into a new workout soon.

At 165 pounds, my recent PR's are

BP 270 lbs.
Squat 395 lbs.
Deadlift 390 lbs.

wilks = 341.56

Hopefully I'll see some SQ/DL numbers in the 400's soon, and then I can focus on trying to reach a 300 bench.

edit for format:

cmart..........165....395/270/390....1055....341.56

Tried some heavier deadlifts tonight. I pulled 325, but it felt like I still had another 100 pounds in me. I've always focused on higher reps which is why I keep updating so frequently; I don't really know what my true maxes are.

Klotz............189....245/225/325....795.....236.3

Agreed on belt, wrists and chalk. Any wrapping of an active joint will improve performance.
Back in prehistoric times when I lifted geared knee wraps got me about 10kg extra in squats.

^^^^^ I think we'd better wave the "no whitebelt" rule as we did for Tayon.

Wilks = 512.38
