It was just a good day for me. I actually thought I fucked up when adding up the poundages.

I'm the same weight as you but my body is suited well for deads and squats (long arms, short legs). My bench sucks ass though. I had a pretty rough time getting a triple @ 225 the other day. I just gotta get my shoulders up again.

You can bench 275 for a single, but have trouble doing a tripple with 225? That's a pretty big difference..

Not really. Think about it. He tripled 225 as part of a normal workout doing bench. we dont know what else he did before that. The 275 was probably at a time set aside for testing the max. Warmup and then testing the bench max while still fresh. (i presume) Doesnt seem like that huge a gap when you think about it like that. Also, the 1RM doesnt mean you can do it every time you try it. it was the single best effort you have ever been able to accomplish thus far

Barut..240..475/355/495....1325....354.83

All lifts were as of 6 months ago. I lost some strength over the summer by sitting on my ass too much, but I plan to match all previous PR's with 6-8 weeks.
