Sorry, I missed this.
This is an old squat total from probably when there was still snow on the ground (and possibly still 2007? I don't know). I haven't tested my raw squat PR in a long time because of the meet schedule I'm on, it doesn't leave too much time for raw training. I've been adding new gear and needing to get used to it, etc.
To make a long story short, I squatted 225 for an *easy* below-parallel single the other day (see log). I bet that I can squat raw ~250 at least with the strength gains that I've made.
Also, it is good to note that teh gear gets teh numbers. I bet that it adds ~100lbs, easy. It's all together in the bottom few inches, too. Once you're out of the hole, the last 2/3 of the lift is all you. Could I do 1/4 and 1/2 squats with 365 raw? Sure, but I'm not going to do that
Squatting raw and squatting with gear are two different feelings, too. I need to sit back more with the gear so that it catches properly at the bottom. You sit back like that raw, you're going to be doing a squat that's ALL back, and that adds 50lbs to the squat, easy.

I'm guessing that's briefs+double ply.

Yes, with knees wrapped. It was a full gear, this is how the meet is going to go training day.
