My longest club is actually a hybrid 3. I don't even bring my woods because I slice them unbelievably badly.
I probably average 200 yds or so with it, but when I actually hit it well, I'll get 220 or so out of it.
On the golf league at work, we have a 3 club night. You can bring whatever 3 clubs you want. It's amazing to see that people usually do BETTER with only 3 clubs.

I do...
I've played so many par 3 courses that the only clubs I use are 9, PW, and putter...
aside from the 3 which I practice on.. __________________

I'm talking about a full course, not a par 3.
On par 3s, I usually just use a 9, PW, and putter, unless it's a longer one, then I might bring a 6 or whatever suits the course the best. Most P3s in my immediate area are really short though. __________________

I've been a scratch to about a 2 most of my life (I played at a small college - I'm a good ball striker and bad putter). I don't play much any more (I'm in grad school so I don't have the money).
