*slaps forehead in disbelief*
Thank you, I can't believe I forgot to put in anything. I'm thinking a discussion of working explosive lifts into a routine and which are the easiest to learn and most effective for mma training.
Any ideas/thoughts people?

Dumbell snatches have to be included in some kind of form, most people that arent in the know would propably not consider that there are another ways of doing it than the oficiall olympic snatch... But your idea sounds good...
-----
Another thing that should be discussed, and preferably in conjunction with the kettlebell section should be something about odd lifts and the like since it after all are extremely relevant for martial arts training and sandbag lifting for instance could definitively be considered a cheaper alternative to kettlebells. Although they dont do "exactly" the same things many similar benefits can be found like weird stabilisation/core recruitment, grip training, etc etc
Smartest would be to have a whery general overview of the oddlifts and its relatives and some benefits (+ something about it being a cheaper alternative to kettlebells) and then start a new thread here in the forum which should be the definitive guide to oddlifts/strongman training/old school training (gymnastics, ropeclimbing, whatever), gpp.

....2 posts I asumed would have been included but I found lacking was the two posts (I think) was started by Madmick. It was the extensive assistance lift catalouge for the big 3 powerlifts (one of the most usefull posts I ever have read here) and it was the similar post regarding coretraining which was similarelly indexed.
I dont know if these have been victims for the sherdog thread genocide that is going on but they was both great and if they dont exist they should be replicated.
---
Im also really not sure if the link to the rotational core strength thread is perfect for a sticky. It is a lot of namedroping of good excersices but it is neither an easy to use index or the type of explaining posts that really goes into the meat why someone should use these excersices. In my mind it should be replaced with the madmick core index (or similar).

Some nice ideas Krellik, Madmick's assisstance lifts catalogue is linked it's just underneath the bit on routines.

Given that "squats vs leg press" and "deadlift vs. leg press" are both on the front page at the moment, is it worth changing this bit to mention that neither DL or squat variants, be they free weight or machines, will be adequate replacements either?

Can we get some bold type in there for the questions? Years of mindless, square-eyed gawping at a monitor 3 inches away from my nose has left me with the visual acquisition skills of an alcoholic cow, and the attention span of a sugar-addled fruitbat. Just like the average whitebelt.
Also could you put all the links in blue?
