question on the ganja
Hey guys, im an amateur MMA competitor and I train extremely hard to the point that my body can take no more.
Now, once in a while after my grueling running drills I come to my apartment and lay down on the sofa, put in a fight DVD and take a couple puffs and it really relaxes my body and calms me down.
But the question I have, is smoking this stuff (which is not on a daily basis, only a couple hits every couple days) detrimental to my conditioning? Does it make me slow? Is it bad for my muscles? And also does it kill brain cells (cuz one of my buddies told me alcohol does but not the grass, and I dont drink)?
I would really appreciate some answers from some experienced guys or guys who know alil bit more about this than I do.

It will, however, cause you to fail a drug test, thus invalidating a win in MMA competition and leading to suspension or fine, depending on what state you fight/plan to fight in.

Inhaling any sort of smoke is a negative towards cardio. Make up for it with an extra mile.
It doesn't make you slow.
It's not bad for your muscles.
No one knows for sure if weed kills brain cells.
But as said above, simply because it's illegal, if you fight, and test positive, you forfeit that win, and probably face a suspension or fine.
