Suppliments

Im posting this in S&P because I want to know what some of the regulars opinions are regarding suppliments. I personally do not use any sups at all. In the past i have used everything that was legal, but i have been all natural for over a year now. Over the last 2 months I have made some very good strength gains and i have gained over 10 lbs. My body is a little tired now though. I dont really want to take much time off and Im now thinking about taking some creatine or some no2 shit to let my body catch up over the next month or so.

What do you guys think of these suppliments? What are your personal experiances? Thanks.

There has been some REALLY good threads (look up terumo) in the supp forum about NO2.

Plus creatine has been talked to death over there.

With both these substances there are lots of rumors. If you want to know what guys in S&P are taking feel free to ask, but for actual info about the substances I recommend you search over there. There are some really good threads about this stuff.

the search funtion is bunk.

Whats the concenous on no2?

if your muscles are feeling beat up, look into some glutamine.
if your joints are feeling beat up, look into glucosamine/chondrotin/msm and EFA's like flax oil.

do you take a multi-vitamin?

I use BSN NO-Xplode pre-workout and BSN Cellmass after. Love 'em both. Cellmass is the best creatine I've used + no water retention or cramping w/ a CEE. I take ZMA before bed, but I'm not really sold on it yet. I've also used Biotest Alpha Male -- again, not sold. Some other stuff, too, along the way... chromium picolinate, vanadyl sulfate, etc., etc. Creatine and to a lesser extent, NO, are the only workout-specific supplements that I consider essential for myself and worth the money. Well, protein, obviously, but that goes w/o saying.

Supplements are not meant to compensate for a lack of good eating habits.
