Behind neck push press PR: 250

Got it pretty easy and jumped a bit too much on my next set, up to 275. It was close... 3/4 or so.

Nothing stellar considering my decent bench numbers. Somehow, my strength in that press doesn't seem to translate over to the overhead variety.

Thanks for clearing that up. the same thing holds true for snatches vs power snatches?

Yep, and straight snatches = muscle snatches, straight cleans = muscle cleans in the US.

Somehow I cant really imagine how a straight snatch works. Theoraticlly I know how they look like. But it seems strange to me.

Deadlift PR: 495 ***STRAP FREE*** clean as clean can be. 210 lb. BW.

Man, i'm happy for at least the next two weeks. I went for 525 after and only got it halfway so I threw my straps on and finished up w/ 515.

What made me even happier is I've been training this kid, Tayon, for about 8 weeks or so. He started out never having seen a deadlift and being able to pull about 225. Today, he pulled 385 (also strap free) and his form was 100% better than his initial pulls at 225. He weighs about 175 and I'm 90% sure he'll pull four plates next week. I'm like a proud papa -- it's great seeing all these chumps paying $50 a session for their personal trainers and watching my guy blow right by them, cost free.

I forgot the coolest part -- I popped a blood vessel in my eye and didn't realize it 'til I got back to work and looked in the mirror. I'll be happy when I start bleeding out of my eyeballs and nose mid-lift.

Why are you telling me to eat shit? Mayor McCheese was always my favoite character from the McDonald's crew. Man, some guys don't know how to take a compliment.

PR:440lbs 200kg deadlift at 200 bw

Really pleased with this as i have never trained consistently just on and off here and there.Haven't touched a weight for about 6 months. So this is really just a starting point for me but this has spurred me on, cant wait for next week.

Good shit! PRs after a lay off pretty much always ensure you get your butt in the gym again.
