Enright is a legit freak who squat is better (or was, at least. not sure if he ever changed that) than his deadlift.

I'm trying to picture the set-up here, and I think I'd have a hard time mentally counting to 600 while trying to do hard ass work like that.

I don't slow down. I start hitting the tire as fast and hard as I can, and I don't stop for 10 minutes. I stop every 100 or 200 to tally the score on a chalkboard, other than that, its constant swinging.
I count. Its pretty easy. I break the swings down into either 5, 10, 20, or 25 per side, depending on how tired one side or the other is feeling.

I'm not saying you didn't make those numbers at all, but if you can Squat 505 with legit depth, I'm just surprised you're only pulling 475.

No, I'm not using a suit. The raw squat record is also greater than the raw deadlift record. People use gear when deadlifting as well.
Record raw squat is like 1200 lbs. EDIT: Well double checked wiki to be sure on my numbers. Apparently it was the same as deadlifts.
Record raw deadlift is close to 900.

Thanks Finnegan! It felt easier than I expected so I put on another 20 and failed miserably. The grip was toast at that point. It's a nice milestone for me and I am an official church member now, but I will be pulling more soon..

Ehrhardt: nice numbers. How close do you think you are to those numbers now? Either way, stick around and post either those numbers or something more recent in the Sherdog's Strongest man thread and start a training log.
AS, nice pull, and I loved the smile at the end.

Being in college complicates things. My bench is still there but I've fallen off on my squat and deadlift a little. Also got some articular cartilage problems developing in my elbow which kind of bothers me. Probably end up having to get that scoped..
