1)I think decline is easier for most people.

2)I'm not sure of your technique or knowledge of proper form, but you may be flaring your elbows out too much. Try to keep them closer to your body. This will take much of the stress off of your shoulders.
Also, DB bench should be easier on the shoulders as well.

3)But in general, I believe, decline bench is more suited to bodybuilders for hitting the lower pecs more.

Not trying to be a dick, just trying to help out.

the fucked up shoulders are results of serious car accident i had few years ago
aint a god damn technique\knowledge in the world that can help here
i can do flat\incline , but its involving more pain

i dont care about bodybuilding crap

im only doing basic powerlifting and specific feats of strength that can improve my overall striking power

I most definitely can chin more weight with a "closed" grip than I can a wide grip. I do a lot of wide grip, and towel work as well.

I levered an 8lb (32" long) sledge out at my side, down to my nose with each hand. Then from in front of me with my right. I couldn't quite do it with my left.

Now I need a matching sledge to do both hands at once.
